Embelton Cabin A Little Piece of Heaven (207) 768-3180 Embelton Cabin is located at scenic Squa Pan Lake in Northern Maine. This breathtakingly beautiful 18 mile stretch of water is one of the largest bodies of water in Northern Aroostook County. Spring at the lake is a must for those that wish to witness the new beginning of the season. Watch the ice go out on the lake and then take in the scenery of leaves budding on trees and plants coming out of the ground to stretch and find the sun. Fast forward to Summer, the busiest season on the lake. Swimming and boating are a staple at Squa Pan. The water is clean and just right for cooling you off. That's not all though... you can also explore the hundreds of miles of ATV trails right in our backyard. Take a day and go climb Haystack mountain... the views are fantastic! From there you can see Mt Katahdin in all it's glory. Most importantly, be sure to take the time to go fishing. See lots of action in the nearby brooks and streams, or float on the lake and do some fishing in the deep water for the bigger fish. If there is a better place to go leaf peeping in Autumn than in Northern Maine, then someone needs to tell us where it is. This is the perfect time of year to climb Haystack mountain and look over the thousands and thousands of acres of changing leaves. Surely Winter is not a good season to come stay at the cabin, right? Wrong. Winter is one of the busiest times of the year. The snowmobiling in Northern Maine is the finest in the County. You can leave from the cabin on a snowmobile and ride on hundreds and hundreds of miles of groomed trails. Sure, you can stay at a motel or hotel, but it is just not the same thing. Just because it's a "cabin" doesn't mean that you are going to suffer. Our cabin has a fully stocked kitchen, microwave oven, a pull-out couch, TV, stereo, bathroom, air conditioning... just like home. Maybe even better. Look for our "Little Piece of Heaven" gift shop to open soon. The rates are as follows: Nightly $120.00 Weekly $700.00 Reservations and Deposit required.
